Coventry Triathlon
The Coventry Triathlon takes place at the XCEL Leisure Centre in Coventry. Organized by the Coventry Triathletes club, the event serves as a central hub for multisport activities in the local area. Participants can choose between several competitive formats, with all events starting and finishing at the designated RaceHQ.
Participants have the option to enter the following distances and categories:
- Sprint Triathlon: 400m pool swim, 19.3km bike ride, and 5km run.
- Sprint Triathlon Relay: 400m pool swim, 19.3km bike ride, and 5km run for teams.
- Sprint Aquabike: 400m pool swim, 19.3km bike ride, and a short run to the finish.
Individuals can enter the Sprint Triathlon to complete all three segments alone, while the Relay Entry allows teams of two or three people to share the disciplines by passing a timing chip between members. The Aquabike category follows the same swim and bike course as the triathlon but concludes with a short walk or run from the transition area to the finish line after the cycling leg.
There are specific requirements for insurance and membership. All participants must hold either a British Triathlon Membership or a Race Pass for the event date. For those without a membership, a Race Pass providing public liability insurance is added during the entry process.
