Coventry Triathlon : event summary
The Coventry Triathlon is organised by Coventry Triathletes and is based at RaceHQ, XCEL Leisure Centre in Coventry (what3words: ///camps.descended.test). The event offers multiple race formats that start and finish at the same location.
Event formats include:
- Sprint Triathlon: 400 m pool swim, 19.3 km bike, 5 km run
- Relay: 2 or 3 person team, each completes one discipline and passes a timing chip as the baton
- Aqua Bike: 400 m pool swim and 19.3 km bike with a short run to the finish
Entry for the event involves two parts: the organiser’s event fee and, separately, proof of British Triathlon membership or purchase of a British Triathlon race pass for the event date. Non-members will have a race pass added to their entry; race passes provide public liability insurance for participation. British Triathlon members must show proof of current membership at registration or purchase a race pass.
