Coventry Half Marathon
The Coventry Half Marathon is a road race that starts in the city centre, follows historic streets, then moves into nearby countryside and continues toward Warwickshire. The course finishes on Cox Street and is routed to offer city and rural scenery.
Entrants must be 17 years or over on event day. The event includes chip timing, a finisher's goody bag and an exclusive medal. Runners may pre-order a technical finisher T-shirt and can add an engraved iTAB to personalise their medal. Results are published after the event.
On-course support includes water stations supplying 330 ml bottles, Applied Nutrition isotonic drinks and energy gels. Fixed first aid stations are located near water stations, with a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish and roaming first aiders around the Event Village. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will carry flags showing target finish times.
The Event Village near the finish offers paid food and drink options, partner charities' stands and a recovery area where Coventry University provides complimentary post-race massages. Baggage and toilets are located in the Coventry University students hub. MarathonPhotos photographers will capture images on course, available to purchase afterwards.
Sustainability measures include recycling bins at water stations and trainer drop-off points for JogOn next to the Race Office. Information on travel options, road closures and route maps is provided for participants and spectators. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
