Event overview
The Coventry Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 19 April 2026 with the start on Gosford Street and a finish at Coventry Cathedral. The route runs through the city centre streets before heading into nearby countryside toward Warwickshire. Entrants must be 17 years or over on event day.
Included with entry are chip timing, a finisher's goody bag, an exclusive medal and the option to pre-order a tech finisher T-shirt and iTAB. Race numbers are collection only.
On the day information
An Event Village will offer food and drink for purchase and host partner charities. Water stations on course will provide 330 ml bottles; additional High5 energy stations will offer Zero tabs and energy gels. Recycling bins will be available at water stations and across the site, and there will be trainer drop-off stations for donations.
Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will run with flags showing target finish times. Baggage can be left in a designated Baggage Store using the tear-off strip on the race number. Toilets are located around the stadium; a zero-tolerance policy applies to public urination. Medical provision includes fixed first aid stations near water stations, a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish, and roaming first aiders. MarathonPhotos will take event photos for purchase. Coventry University will provide complimentary post-race massages in the Event Village.
