Event overview
The Coventry Half Marathon is a city-centre to countryside road race scheduled for 19 April. The start line is on Gosford Street and the course passes through Coventry’s historic city centre before heading out towards the nearby countryside and Warwickshire. The finish is at Coventry Cathedral. The Coventry 10K is scheduled on the same day and takes place after the half marathon entrants set off.
Race details and on-the-day services
Entrants must be 17 years or over on event day. Entries include chip timing, a finisher's goody bag and an exclusive finisher medal; there is an option to pre-order a technical finisher T-shirt and iTAB engraving. Race numbers are collection only. Water stations will supply 330 ml bottles and High5 energy stations will provide Zero tabs and energy gels; recycling bins are provided at water stations. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will be on course with flags showing target finish times. A designated Baggage Store is available; runners should use the tear-off strip on the race number to label bags. Allocated toilets are located around the stadium; there is a zero-tolerance policy on urinating outside the facilities. First aid stations are located near water stations, with a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish and roaming first aiders in the Event Village. The Event Village will offer food and drink for purchase, partner charities, complimentary post-race massages from Coventry University, and event photography available to buy.
