Coventry Half Marathon
The Coventry Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, 19 April 2026. The start line is on Gosford Street, next to Coventry University.
The route begins in the historic city centre before heading into the nearby countryside towards Warwickshire. The finish line is at Coventry Cathedral. The event uses chip timing.
On-course facilities include:
- Water stations with 330ml bottles.
- Applied Nutrition energy stations with isotonic drinks and energy gels.
- First aid personnel and stations.
- Pacers, sponsored by Arla Protein, to help runners achieve target finish times.
- Official photographers from MarathonPhotos.
The event village offers food and drink for purchase. Post-race, Coventry University provides complimentary massages. Supervised cycle parking is available near the start.
Baggage storage is provided using a tear-off strip from the race number. Toilets are located around the start/finish area. Bone-conducting headphones are permitted, but volume must be kept low to hear marshal instructions.
All clothing discarded at the start will be collected and donated. Recycling bins are provided at water stations, and there is a shoe recycling station by the race office.

- Car: Recommended parking at Coventry City Council's Salt Lane Multi Storey Car Park, accessible until 08:45 from the A4053.
- Bus: The city centre bus station is a 500m walk from the start.
- Train: Coventry is on the West Coast Main Line. Railway Station Car Park is a 15-minute walk from the start.
- Bike/Walking: Cycle hire docks are nearby on Gosford Street and Cox Street.
