Coventry 300 5K
Coventry Church sponsors the Coventry 300 5K and a 1.5 mile fun walk in Pottstown, held in conjunction with the Coventry Church Fall Festival. The event began in 2024 to mark the church's 300th anniversary.
The main race is an out and back course that starts and finishes next to the church parking lot on Keen Road. The first half is mostly downhill and passes through neighborhoods. A short section on a paved footpath takes participants around a pond in Kenilworth before returning to the streets for the second half and the finish area. A team option allows groups of five to register under a team name; a team score is the sum of the finishing places for the five members.
A separate 1.5 mile fun walk follows the race course for those who choose to walk instead of running. A children’s run is offered free of charge, varies in length by age and will be no longer than 200 m; each child receives a prize.
Post-race refreshments, music, fellowship and age group awards conclude the event. Awards include separate male and female winners plus top three in each age group: 14 & under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+.
