Coveathlon #2 - Newport Beach, CA
Coveathlon #2 takes place on July 16, 2026 at 1131 Bay Back Drive, Newport Beach, California. The event program combines open-water swimming and road running with individual and relay options across multiple distances.
The event lineup includes:
- 1K Swim + 5K Run - 6K total
- 1K Swim - 1K
- 5K Run - 5K
- 10K Run - 10K
- 1K Swim + 5K Run Relay - 6K total
Individual registration opens March 25, 2026 and closes June 1, 2026. Fees listed for events are $65 for the 1K Swim + 5K Run, $40 for the 1K Swim, $40 for the 5K Run, $45 for the 10K Run, and $90 for the 1K Swim + 5K Run Relay. Series pass options are available with a limited quantity of 50 passes; pass prices include a 1K Swim + 5K Run Pass for $260, a 1K Swim Pass for $170, a 5K Run Pass for $170, and a 10K Run Pass for $190.
Registration includes a race t-shirt, a silicone swim cap, free race photos, chip timing and live results. Awards are presented after each race with overall and age-group categories for swim and run events; team awards are presented at the final race.
