Event Overview
The Country Possum Chase is a running event taking place in White Lake, Wisconsin. Participants start and finish at the White Lake-Joe Edelman Pavilion located on Bissell Street. The event offers three different race distances to accommodate various preferences:
- 1 Mile Run
- 5K Run
- 10K Run
The 1 Mile and 5K races feature age divisions for both men and women ranging from 7 and under to 70 and above. The 10K race includes divisions for runners aged 17 and under through 70 and above. Registration is available in advance, and race day registration is also provided during a specific morning window.
Fruit pies are awarded to the fastest 10 men and 10 women in each of the three races. An awards presentation follows the completion of the events in the Pavilion to recognize the top performers across all categories. Participants who register by the designated cutoff in June are eligible for event t-shirts.
Beyond the running competitions, the location hosts a variety of community activities throughout the day. These include a parade, live music, and various vendors.
