Country Bear Fun Run
The McCleary Civic Renewal Council hosts the Country Bear Fun Run on July 11, 2026, in McCleary, Washington. The event is part of the Bear Festival and is based at 100 S 3rd St, McCleary, WA 98557.
The program features a 1.25 mile course through the city for running, trotting, and walking. Pre registration is open through July 12 and day of registration is available at a registration table at the corner of W Simpson and S 3rd Street. Entry fees vary by age: adults pay five dollars, youth ages six to seventeen pay five dollars, and children five years and under may enter at no charge.
Packet pickup is available on the day of the event. Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded. Prize categories, each listed at twenty five dollars value, include best kid costume (13 and younger), best big kid costume (14 and older), Royalty Court Choice, the 1.25 mile winner, and a 5K winner.
