SIUE Cougars Unleashed Homecoming Run & Pancake Breakfast
The event is held at the SIUE Stratton Quad in Edwardsville, Illinois in late September 2026 as part of SIUE Homecoming and Family Weekend. It includes multiple running options and a pancake breakfast provided by Chris Cakes. Proceeds from the breakfast and event support the SIUE Alumni Association Scholarship and Programs, which provide over $20,000 annually in scholarships.

A discounted registration rate is available, including a $5 discount for SIUE alumni and reduced pricing for current SIUE students. To guarantee an official Cougars Unleashed race shirt, registration should be completed by early September.
Packet pick-up and a registration party take place at RunWell in Edwardsville. The schedule includes a registration party and packet pick-up on Wednesday, September 24 from 6-8 p.m., and packet pick-up on Thursday, September 25 from 12-6 p.m.
Awards are given by overall finish and by age divisions. Trophies are awarded to the top two overall male and female finishers in both the 5K and 10K. Medals are awarded to the top two male and female finishers in age divisions including 14 and under, 15–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, and 60 and over.
