SIUE Cougars Unleashed Homecoming Run & Pancake Breakfast
The event is hosted at the SIUE Stratton Quad in Edwardsville, Illinois. It features multiple running options and a post-race pancake breakfast for participants.

Registration for each distance includes one pancake breakfast ticket, one complimentary drink ticket for participants 21 and older, and an official Cougars Unleashed short-sleeve shirt if the participant registers by the T-shirt deadline of September 4. Published registration fees are $40 for the 10K, $35 for the 5K, and $20 for the Fun Run. The event offers discounted registration for SIUE alumni, current SIUE students, and reduced pricing for children 10 and under.
The event states an inclusion policy that accepts each participant’s declared gender for race entry without requiring additional supporting evidence, and it encourages participation from transgender and non-binary athletes. Dogs are permitted to join the gathering.
Post-run provisions include a pancake breakfast provided by Chris Cakes and beer service for those 21 and older provided by Global Brew. Race timing is provided by Final Lap Racing. Net proceeds may support alumni operations, current alumni association scholarships, and permanently endowed scholarship funds. The event is part of SIUE Homecoming and Family Weekend and supports SIUE Alumni Association scholarship and programming which provide over $20,000 annually in scholarships.
