The event is based at the Corryton Community Center, 9331 Davis Drive, Corryton, Tennessee. It features three certified out and back courses on Corryton-Luttrell Road. All courses are sanctioned by USATF.

Registration opens April 25 and the usual advance registration deadline is October 11. Fees vary by entry date with lower rates for registrations by October 11, higher rates after October 12, and a day of race fee. Entry pricing distinguishes adults and children under age 19.
Participants receive a chip timed bib and an event T shirt when available. T shirt availability is guaranteed for those registered by October 1 and limited after that. Shirts and awards will be distributed on race morning and are not mailed.
Awards are given by gender for overall finishers and across age groups, with three deep placings in age categories and participation medals for finishers. Team plaques are awarded for fastest teams and for the team with the most participants. Walkers are welcome on the 2 mile and 4 mile courses. The 8 mile course is not walker friendly due to terrain and open road conditions. Course etiquette notes that roads remain open to traffic and that roller blades, bicycles, and dogs are not permitted on the route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
