The courses are out-and-back on Corryton-Luttrell Road and are sanctioned and USATF certified (8 Mile TN15044MS, 4 Mile TN24019MS, 2 Mile TN16052MS). Distances
- 8 Miles
- 4 Miles
- 2 Miles
Packet pickup and shirt distribution occur on race morning; there is no early packet pickup date and shirts must be picked up in person. The event offers a 50/50 blend short sleeve race shirt with a no-shirt pricing option and size upcharges; shirts are guaranteed to registrants by October 1 while supplies last. Registration pricing varies by date, with lower early-entry fees and higher late and day-of fees; pricing differs slightly by distance and by adult versus child categories.
Awards include top overall finishers, masters and other top categories, age-group awards awarded three deep (overall winners not eligible for age-group awards), participation medals for finishers of each distance, and team plaques that require four members. Walkers are permitted on the 2 mile and 4 mile courses; the 8 mile course is not walker-friendly due to a sizeable hill, open traffic, and limited shoulder. Proceeds benefit the Corryton Community Club and the Corryton Hospitality Pantry, which offers free food on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays each month at Rutherford Memorial United Methodist Church.
