Venue and Atmosphere
Pre-race and post-race activities are staged on the westernmost part of Pier 84, on the grass section closest to the Hudson River. Picnic blankets are provided for teams on the grass, with additional bench and small table seating available. A DJ provides music, and a photographer is present.
Post-Race Party
The post-race party features free beverages and pizza. Companies are welcome to bring their own catered picnics if they prefer.
Awards and Recognition
Awards are given for the largest team, the team with the best t-shirt, and the fastest teams and individuals.
Registration and Logistics
Registration is team-based. The fee is $48 per team member. Online registration typically closes on the Friday before the event. Race-day registration for individual team members is possible but discouraged. Access to the pier is possible via the A, C, or E subway lines to 42nd Street, or by several bus lines.
