Corporate Fun Run Middlesex County
The Middlesex County 5k is a corporate fitness and social event held in Waltham. The event centers around the Waltham Common, located adjacent to City Hall at 610 Main Street. Pre-race activities and post-race celebrations take place on the section of grass near Carter Street.
Participants complete a 5 km run or walk along the Charles River Walk. The course is designed as an out and back route, starting and finishing at Landry Park and heading east toward Watertown. Registration is open to team members, with the option for race night registration for those who miss the online deadline.
The event includes a post-race gathering on the Waltham Common. This social portion of the evening features banquet table seating for teams and music provided by a DJ. Food and beverages, specifically pizza, ziti, and beer, are provided for participants. A photographer is present throughout the event to take photos of individuals and teams.
Awards are presented in several categories, including the largest team, the team with the best custom t-shirt design, and the fastest teams and individuals.
