Corporate Fun Run Manhattan Financial District
The Manhattan Financial District 5k takes place at Rockefeller Park North in Battery Park City. This event is designed as a corporate gathering and picnic that combines physical activity with team socializing. The staging area, including packet pickup and the post-race celebration, is located in the picnic area next to the handball courts.
The event features a single distance:
- 5 km run/walk
The course follows an "out and back" format. Participants start on the great lawn at Rockefeller Park North and head south towards Robert Wagner Park along the designated walking and running paths before returning to the start-finish area. The route is situated along the waterfront of Lower Manhattan.
A social gathering follows the completion of the 5 km course. The organizers provide pizza, cookies, and beverages for all participants. The area is equipped with picnic tables, blankets on the grass, and wooden benches for team seating. Music is provided by a DJ throughout the duration of the event.
Teams and individual participants are photographed during the event, and these photos are provided at no additional cost. Awards are presented for the largest team, the team with the best t-shirt design, and the fastest teams and individuals.
