Garden State 5k | Corporate FunRun
The Garden State 5k is a company-oriented running event at Oak Ridge Park in Clark, New Jersey. It takes place on Thursday August 6 2026 at Oak Ridge Park, 136 Oak Ridge Road, Clark NJ 07066. The event includes pre race activities, the 5k run walk, and a post race party with awards.
Pre race activities and packet and tee shirt pickup, race night registration, and company gathering are held on the grassy area next to the main yellow house adjacent to the parking lot. Banquet tables and chairs are provided for team seating.
The race starts by the parking lot and follows a single loop around Oak Ridge Park. The finish line is located behind the event staging area. The distance is 5k.
The post race party takes place on the same grassy area. Free beer and pizza are provided for all. Companies may arrange their own catering for a company picnic. A DJ provides music from start to finish and a photographer takes free team and individual photos. Awards are given for largest team, best tee shirt, and fastest teams and individuals.
Plenty of parking is available in the main lot off Oak Ridge Road with overflow parking on the grass and near the archery area. The registration fee is $48 per team member. Online registration closes Friday July 1. Team payments are due Tuesday August 4. Race day registration is available but discouraged. A $50 gift card is offered for successful team referrals.
