Crescent City Corporate Classic
The Crescent City Classic and the YMCA of Greater New Orleans present the Corporate Classic on October 24, 2026, in New Orleans City Park. The event is a community run/walk organized for individuals and corporate teams and includes a designated Kids Zone for children age 10 and under.
The main distance is 5K (3.1 miles). Walkers, joggers and runners may participate; strollers are allowed but not in the wave attempting qualification. Participants can register individually or as part of a team. Registration fees range from $40 to $50 depending on the registration date; children age 5 and under may participate for free but do not receive a shirt, bib, or medal.
Race entries and team members receive a race bib with timing chip, a commemorative T-shirt, and a finisher’s medal. The post race festival features a live band, complimentary food and beverages, and an appearance by the Saints mascot Gumbo. The Kids Zone requires online reservation, is free for registered children, requires that children be potty trained, and is staffed by certified YMCA personnel; activities include inflatables, face painting, games, crafts, and snacks.
Packet pick-up options include early pick-up locations in Metairie for individuals and non-corporate teams and a separate early pick-up for corporate team captains; corporate teams do not have race day packet pick-up. The 5K course loops through City Park, passing the Festival Grounds, Wisner Boulevard, the New Orleans Museum of Art, Roosevelt Mall, and finishes on the practice track. Finishing the Corporate Classic in 27:00 or under qualifies a participant for a seeded starting position in the following year’s CCC10k; seeded corral time standards include 22:30 or faster and times between 22:31 and 27:00. Team awards, individual age-group awards, largest team awards, and custom medallions for finishers are part of the event. Free parking is available at several City Park lots; participants are asked to avoid Marconi Drive due to construction and to note parking restrictions inside Tad Gormley Stadium and along the course.
