Blackbeard's Revenge 100
Blackbeard's Revenge 100 is an ultra running event on the Outer Banks of North Carolina held March 20–21, 2027. The event features point to point courses that run along 100% paved coastal roads and finish in Hatteras. Courses and start locations include Corolla and Nags Head depending on the distance.
The event offers multiple distance and entry formats, including solo and team options, chariot categories, pacers, and virtual entries. Virtual participants create their own course, submit finish results, and receive event items: virtual 100 Mile registrants receive a race shirt, finisher's belt buckle, and commemorative bumper sticker; virtual 100K registrants receive a race shirt, finisher's medal, and commemorative bumper sticker. Relay teams and ruckers are part of the field.
The course environment includes ocean views, salt air, and variable coastal weather. Roads are flat but long, and wind conditions can change during the event. A tradition at this event is that participants adopt pirate names for their bibs and many runners use pirate-themed costumes and signs. The finish line is located at The Wreck Tiki Bar in Hatteras.
