Cornwall Mile

The Cornwall Mile is a running event taking place in Cornwall, New York. The competition features a single distance on a course located on Main Street.

The race follows a net down-hill course on roads that are closed to vehicle traffic. Participants run through the town of Cornwall with local supporters along the route. For those who register by June 15th, a commemorative Cornwall 4th of July Main Street Mile t-shirt is provided. Early bib pick-up and race day registration are available at the Main Tent located in the Town Hall parking lot.

Recognition is given to the top overall male and female runners, who receive a trophy. Additionally, awards are presented to the top three finishers in several age categories. These categories include 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over.

The event is organized as part of the local community festivities, and all proceeds from the race benefit the Cornwall 4th of July celebration. The location for the event is situated on Quaker Ave in Cornwall. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
