Cornfest 5K - Barker, NY
The Cornfest 5K is the fifth annual 5K run/walk held on July 25, 2026 in Barker, New York. The course is USATF certified and the start and finish are located near the corner of Quaker Road and Main Street. Packet pickup and the start/finish line are associated with the Barker Public Library at 8708 Main Street, Barker, NY 14012.
Online registration is available through race day. Participants who register by July 17, 2026 at 9am are guaranteed an official Cornfest t-shirt in their desired size; a small quantity of extra shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis thereafter. Registration fees are $25.00 through June 30, 2026 and $30.00 from July 1 through race day.
Professional timing uses Jaguar Electronic RFID provided by Race Management Solutions, with results updated in real time. Custom finisher certificates and finish line photos are available for free from the results platform.
Post-race provisions include light food and snacks and an awards ceremony at the gazebo. Trophies will be presented to the top male and top female runners. Age group winners receive a half dozen ears of corn. Age groups are 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus.
There are no refunds; organizers may postpone, reschedule, or offer a virtual alternative in cases of foul weather, public safety concerns, or other emergencies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
