Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers Corn Fest 5K
The Corn Fest event at Morris Elementary School in Morris, Illinois on September 26, 2026 includes a main 5K run and a wellness walk, plus two youth fun runs. The 5K course is a USATF certified 3.1 mile route (IL25035NM) that begins on the black drive behind Morris Grade School and winds through residential neighborhoods. The wellness walk follows the same course.
Distances
- 5K Run / Wellness Walk, USATF certified 3.1 mile course.
- Youth Fun Run (ages 6-10), 1/2 mile loop behind school.
- Youth Fun Run (ages 5 and under), 100 yard dash on the field.
Awards are planned for the 5K overall top three male and female finishers and the top three in each age group; fun run participants receive a medal. Participants must be present at the awards to receive awards. Age divisions are listed for the 5K, including 14-under and several adult brackets up to 70 and older.
T-shirt distribution is limited: shirts for the 5K and wellness walk are available to the first 300 pre-registered participants in unisex adult sizes. Fun run participants receive cotton T-shirts in youth sizes. Packet pick up is available before the event at the Morris Hospital YMCA community room and on race day at Morris Grade School.
