Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers Corn Fest 5K
The Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers Corn Fest 5K is scheduled for September 26, 2026 at Morris Elementary School, 2001 Dupont Avenue, Morris, IL. The event includes a timed 5K run and a Wellness Walk that follow the same certified course.
Distances and youth events:
- 5K Run / Wellness Walk on a certified 3.1 mile course
- Youth Fun Run (Ages 6-10) 1/2 mile loop around school fields
- Youth Fun Run (Ages 5 and under) 100 yard dash across the field
Course and logistics: The 5K is a USATF certified course (IL25035NM) that begins on the black drive behind Morris Grade School and winds through residential neighborhoods. The Wellness Walk uses the same route. Youth runs take place in the fields behind the school.
Awards and extras: Overall awards go to the top three male and female finishers. Age awards are given to the top three in each age division; divisions range from 14 and under through 70 and older. Fun Run participants receive a medal. Participants must be present at awards to receive an award.
Registration and packet information: Entry options include early, regular, and race day rates for the 5K, and a separate fee for each youth fun run. Pre-race packet pick up is available at the Morris Hospital YMCA Community Room on the Thursday before the event, and packets are also distributed on site at Morris Grade School on race day.
