Corn Dog Dash 5K
The Corn Dog Dash is a community running event held on June 20, 2026, in Crown Point, Indiana, at the Crown Point Babe Ruth / Legacy Fields. The program includes a main 5K road race and a Mini Corn Dog Fun Run for children.
Participants in the 5K finish on the Corn Dogs baseball field. All race finishers receive a complimentary ticket to that day’s baseball game, a free corn dog from Sonic Drive-In Crown Point, and a complimentary beverage (alcohol for those 21 and over or a soft drink). The Mini Corn Dog Fun Run is for ages 4 to 12 and includes a mascot appearance, a complimentary ticket to the game that day, a free corn dog, and a soft drink.
Awards are presented to Overall Male and Female and Masters Male and Female. Age group awards are given 1st through 3rd in these categories: 8 and under, 9-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus. A drawing will award a new pair of shoes courtesy of Fleet Feet Schererville during the baseball game.
Strollers and dogs are not allowed on the race course or on the field to protect the turf and for participant safety. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
