Cork City 10km 2026
The Cork City 10k is a road race held on Sunday 16 August 2026 and organised by St. Finbarr's A.C. The event features a single distance of 10 km on a measured, permitted course (cert. no: 26/193). The first half of the route runs alongside the River Lee and the second half follows a flat, straight section of road in Cork.
The start line is outside the main gate of Fitzgerald's Park, the Mardyke, and the finish is at The Lee Fields next to The Kingsley Hotel. Chip timing is provided by Pop-Up Races. A bag drop operates from The Kingsley Hotel on race morning. There is at least one on-course water station and reusable cups will be supplied at the finish in line with the organiser's sustainability plans.
Number and T-shirt collection takes place at The Kingsley Hotel on the Friday and Saturday before the race; there is no collection on race day. Every participant receives a 75th anniversary 42K souvenir T-shirt to mark St. Finbarr's A.C. 75th anniversary. The event also supports Cork City Missing Persons Search & Recovery and forms race 9 of 10 in the Peugeot Race Series.
Entry involves an online ticketing period in 2026 and an entry fee applies; non Athletics Ireland members pay an additional fee to Athletics Ireland. Optional race number and T-shirt delivery is offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
