Cork City 10km 2026
The Cork City 10k is a road race taking place in Cork City on Sunday 16 August 2026. The event is hosted by St. Finbarr's A.C. and marks the club's 75th anniversary. A permit has been approved, cert. no. 26/193.
The course follows a scenic route with the first half overlooking the River Lee and the second half on a flat, straight section of road in Cork. Chip timing is provided by Pop-Up Races. The event is race 9 of 10 in the Peugeot Race Series.
Entry fee is €31.95 and includes a uniquely designed 42K souvenir T-shirt and the EventMaster booking fee. Non Athletics Ireland members pay an additional €2 fee. An optional race number and t-shirt delivery service is available for €6. Number and t-shirt collection is scheduled at The Kingsley Hotel on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th August. Bag drop is available at The Kingsley Hotel on the morning of the race.
On-course and finish-line hydration will use pre-filled reusable cups supplied in line with the organiser's sustainability approach. Course records are listed at 29:38 for men and 31:58 for women. The designated charity for 2026 is Cork City Missing Persons Search & Recovery. Sponsors include Doyle Solicitors, The Kingsley Hotel and a number of local businesses.
