About the race
The Coral Coast Triathlon, organised by the Cairns Crocs Triathlon Club, takes place at Yorkeys Knob on Sunday 16 August 2026 as the 45th edition of the event. It offers multiple race formats for individual athletes and teams, with age eligibility set by Aus Triathlon and athlete age determined as at 31/12/2026.
Race options include:
- Standard Triathlon: 1500m swim / 40km ride / 10km run
- Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim / 20km ride / 5km run
- Enticer Triathlon: 350m swim / 10km ride / 2.5km run
- Standard Aquathlon: 1500m swim / 10km run
- Sprint Aquathlon: 750m swim / 5km run
- Standard Aquabike: 1500m swim / 40km bike
- Sprint Aquabike: 750m swim / 20km bike
Cairns Crocs club members receive a 20% registration discount. Aus Triathlon One Day Licence fees apply for non-members; listed fees vary by race type. Minimum participation levels apply and entries will be refunded if the event does not proceed due to insufficient numbers. After registration closes there are no refunds, transfers, or deferrals; transfers to a future event are only possible while registration remains open.
