Clifton Beach Foot Race/Run
The event is a series of races offering a single distance of 10 km. Each series comprises two separate 10 km races; participants may enter one or both races. The course runs on footpaths in Clifton Beach and Palm Cove with the start and finish on the beach at Deadman’s Gully, Clifton Beach. A water stop and turnaround point is located at the northern end of Palm Cove at the jetty.
Participants aged 14 and older may take part; juniors under 14 are permitted only after discussion with the race director and must be accompanied by a responsible adult along the course. Competitors wishing to compete in a wheelchair must apply to the race director no later than one month before the event. No bikes, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades or animals are allowed on the course.
Facilities and services include toilets at the start and in Palm Cove across the road from the water stop, basic first aid at the start and finish area, and refreshments after the event. Entries close at 6pm the night before the race and no entries are taken on race day.
Entry fees for 2026 are listed as $15 per race for non members and $9.75 for Dynamic Running club members. Entries include a race bib, basic first aid, refreshments, and public liability insurance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
