About the race
The Clifton Beach Foot Race/Run is a series of short race series that each include two separate 10 km events. Entrants may run one or both races in a series; there is no 5 km option. The course runs on footpaths through Clifton Beach and Palm Cove with start and finish on the beach at Deadman’s Gully. A water stop and turnaround point is located at the northern end of Palm Cove at the jetty.
Participants aged 14 years and older may take part, including walkers, recreational and competitive runners; Dynamic Running Club membership is not required. Juniors under 14 require prior discussion with the race director and must be accompanied by a responsible adult on the course. Competitors seeking to race in a wheelchair must submit an application to the race director at least one month before the event.
Basic first aid is available at the start/finish area. Toilets are provided at the start/finish and in Palm Cove across the road from the water stop. Bikes, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades and animals are not permitted on the course. Entries close at 6pm on the night before the race; no entries are accepted on race day.
For 2026 the entry fee is $15 per 10 km race with a reduced fee of $9.75 for Dynamic Running club members. Entries include a race bib, basic first aid service, post-event refreshments and public liability insurance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
