Cooper's Hawk Wine Run 5k
The Cooper's Hawk Wine Run is a chip timed 5k held on May 24, 2026 at Cooper's Hawk Winery in New Lenox, Illinois. The event is limited to 500 participants and is open to ages 1 through 99. It is timed and scored by J3 Timing and official results will be posted by that timing provider.
The course is cross country style and includes hills and trails; it is described as suitable for both runners and walkers. Parking in the forest preserve lot by Schmul School is encouraged; limited parking is available at the winery. Registration includes a Super Soft ring spun cotton T shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, and a chip timed race bib. A pour of wine is provided with registration; minors receive a shirt, medal and bib but do not receive a wine glass or wine pour.
Packet pickup takes place Wednesday and Thursday, May 20 and 21 from noon to 6 pm at Cooper's Hawk New Lenox. Race day packet pickup is available on the morning of the event. The race supports the New Lenox Food Pantry. Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in ten year categories and must be picked up at the registration table on race day.
