Coon Creek Classic
The Hampshire Township Park District presents the 43rd Annual Coon Creek Classic on 08/16/2026 in Hampshire, Illinois. The event takes place at 560 South State Street, Hampshire, IL 60140 and includes measured courses for two official distances.
The 10K course is described as a challenge for trained runners. The 2K course runs through downtown Hampshire and is suitable for all ages and for walkers.

Online registration is available until August 14 at 3:00pm. In-person registration reopens on race day at Hampshire Middle School from 7:00am to 7:45am only; no entries are accepted after 7:45am. Fees vary by residency and registration date. Representative ranges:
- 10K Hampshire residents $35 to $50; non residents $37 to $52
- 2K Hampshire residents $30 to $45; non residents $32 to $47
- 2K child 12 and under $20/$22nr up to $30/$32nr depending on registration date
