Cookridge Community 10K - 17 May 2026, Cookridge (Leeds)

The event is a 10 kilometres trail race held in Cookridge, Leeds. It is organised by Cookridge Community Run and is the seventh running of this event. The race takes place at Cookridge Village Scout Group, Pinfold Lane, with the finish at the scout hut. Entry is limited to 360 participants; 351 places remained at the time of listing. Entry on the day is not available. Entry fees are £24.00 for affiliated runners and £26.00 for unaffiliated runners.

Course, facilities and race notes

The course is multi-terrain, listed as flat, and covers one lap. The route starts at the scout hall, goes down Pinfold Lane and around Paul’s Pond in an anti-clockwise direction, then enters Golden Acre Park and passes a nature reserve. The course includes a grassed area and a hill about halfway, trail paths through woods with roots underfoot, a loop of the main path and a clockwise circuit of the lake before returning to the finish. Parts of the course can become muddy after poor weather. The race is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Facilities include water stations, distance markers, toilets and a baggage store (limited to one bag per person). There are no changing facilities or showers.
