Cookridge Community 10K 2026
The Cookridge Community 10K takes place on Sunday 17 May 2026 in Cookridge, Leeds. The event is a 10 km multi-terrain trail run organised by Cookridge Community Run, held as the seventh running of this race in memory of Gareth Dunn.
The course starts at Cookridge Village Scout Hall on Pinfold Lane, runs down the lane and around Paul’s Pond in an anti-clockwise direction, then enters Golden Acre Park following the main park path past the nature reserve. The route moves onto a grassed area and climbs a grass hill roughly halfway, then continues on trail through woods where runners should look out for roots underfoot. The route includes a clockwise circuit of the lake before retracing back to the scouts hut finish. Parts of the course can become muddy after poor weather.
Facilities include water stations, distance markers, toilets and limited baggage storage at the Scout Hall; participants are asked to bring no more than one bag. There are no changing facilities or showers. All participants receive a CC10K t-shirt. The event has an entry limit of 360 places with 51 remaining at the time of listing, and online entries close Friday 15 May 2026. Entry on the day is not available.
