Event overview
The Cookridge Community 10K takes place on 17 May 2026 in Cookridge, Leeds. The race is organised by Cookridge Community Run. The distance is 10 Kilometres on a multi-terrain course, completed as one lap. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs. Entry is limited to 360 runners; remaining places are listed as 360. Online entries close on 15 May 2026 and entry on the day is not available. Entry fees are: affiliated £24.00 and unaffiliated £26.00. All participants receive a CC10K t-shirt.
Course and facilities
The course starts and finishes at the Cookridge Village Scout Group on Pinfold Lane. The route goes down the lane and around Paul’s Pond in an anti-clockwise direction, then enters Golden Acre Park and follows the park path anti-clockwise past the nature reserve. The route moves onto grass, climbs a grass hill about halfway, continues toward the Arthington Road car park, follows trail paths through woods and completes a clockwise circuit of the lake before retracing back to the scouts hut. Parts of the course can become muddy after poor weather. Facilities include water stations, distance markers, toilets and a baggage store. The baggage store is limited; participants are asked to bring a maximum of one bag each. There are no changing facilities or showers.
