Cookridge Community 10K 2026

The event takes place on 17 May 2026 in Cookridge, Leeds. This is the seventh running of the trail 10K. The race headquarters is Cookridge Village Scout Group, Pinfold Lane, Cookridge LS16 7SY. Online entries close Friday 15 May 2026. The entry limit is 360 with 354 places remaining. Entry on the day is not available. Entry fees are: Affiliated £24.00, Unaffiliated £26.00. All participants receive a CC10K t-shirt.

Course and facilities

The course is multi-terrain and contains one grass hill about halfway round. The route starts at the Scout Hall on Pinfold Lane, goes around Paul’s Pond in an anti-clockwise direction, enters Golden Acre Park and passes the nature reserve. It continues onto grass and up a hill toward the Arthington Road car park, follows trail paths through woods, completes a loop of the main path and a clockwise circuit of the lake, then retraces to finish at the scouts hut. Parts of the course can become muddy after poor weather. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs. Laps: 1.

Facilities include water stations, distance markers, toilets and a baggage store. There are no changing facilities and no showers. The baggage store is limited; one bag per person is recommended. Participants are asked to write any medical condition and emergency contact on the back of their race number.
