The Cookie Mile

The Cookie Mile is the second annual event presented by Kookaburra Cookies, Fleet Feet, and Nike. It takes place in Aksarben Village in Omaha, Nebraska, using a flat one mile loop that begins at Stinson Park and finishes at the corner of 67th Street and Mercy Road.

The event includes several divisions: Elite, Open, High School, Middle School, and a Kids' Quarter Mile. The High School division is for runners who will be in grades 9 through 12 during the 2027 school year. The Middle School division is for runners who will be in grades 5 through 8 during the 2027 school year. The Elite division is for competitive athletes of any age and uses standards of 5:00 for Elite Men and 6:00 for Elite Women; it also offers awards and prizes. The Kids' Quarter Mile is an untimed one lap around Stinson Park.

All registered participants receive a custom finisher medal, an exclusive finisher t-shirt, and a fresh-baked Kookaburra cookie. Registration opens April 23, 2026 and closes May 1, 2026. The listed registration fee is $35 per entry.
