Conservation Park Sprint Duathlon : Panama City Beach, FL (06/12/2027)
The Conservation Park Sprint Duathlon is an off-road run-bike-run event held at Conservation Park, 100 Conservation Drive, Panama City Beach. The race format is a first run of 1.7 miles, a bike of 9.5 miles, and a second run of 2.7 miles, all on hard-packed gravel trails. The full course distance for individual entries is 13.9 miles. A relay option is available; teams may consist of two or three members and may be all male, all female, or co-ed. Relay exchanges occur in the transition area and all relay members must register.
This race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon and requires a valid USAT membership or a one-day license. Bikes and helmets receive numbers in the race packet; the race bib must be visible during the run segments and is required to reclaim bike gear after the race. Each athlete is responsible for ensuring their bike is in proper working order and for plugging handlebar ends.
Course wayfinding uses color-corresponding trail signs and volunteers on course. There is a run water station located at about 0.62 miles into each run loop. Restrooms are available near the transition area. Parking at the park offers around 130 spots. Timing is mass-start manual; finishers receive a numbered stick in chute order to verify placement and times. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to top relay teams in each division. Raffle drawings follow the event with tickets available for purchase.
