Conquer the Lake Running Event - Lake Country, BC
The event takes place on June 7, 2026 in Lake Country, British Columbia, with the venue based at Beasley Park (3450 Woodsdale Road). Routes run around Wood Lake, using the Pelmewash multi-modal pathway and the Rail Trail, offering sections alongside the lake and natural surroundings.
Offered distances:
- Half-Marathon (route around Wood Lake)
- 10 km Fun Run/Walk
- 5 km Fun Run
- 1 km Fun Run for Kids
The 5 km and 10 km use an out-and-back route along the Rail Trail. The Half-Marathon circles the lake and is included in the Interior Running Association Road Running Series. The kids 1 km event occurs mid-morning.
Practical details: registration closes on June 4, 2026. Race bib pickup is available the day before at PLAY KELOWNA (1950 Harvey Avenue, Unit 101) and on race morning at the Beasley Community Centre. Awards are presented in front of the Beasley Community Centre steps; age-group prizes go to the top three in each category and there will be draw prizes from the IRA. Registrations are non-refundable; transfers between race distances are allowed up to two weeks before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
