Conquer the Lake Running Event : Lake Country, BC
Conquer The Lake takes place on June 7, 2026 in Lake Country, British Columbia. Event operations are based at Beasley Park and the Beasley Community Centre, beside Wood Lake.
Runners follow a course around Wood Lake that uses the new multi-modal pathway on Pelmewash and continues onto the Rail Trail. The 5 km and 10 km are out-and-back routes along the Rail Trail and are described as flat and fast. A 1 km kids fun run is scheduled for mid-morning.
The event also offers a half-marathon; the half-marathon is included in the Interior Running Association Road Running Race Series. Age-group awards are presented to the top three in each age group and there are draw prizes from the IRA. Awards are handed out in front of the Beasley Community Centre steps.
Race bib pick-up is available the day before at PLAY Kelowna (1950 Harvey Avenue, Unit 101) and on race morning at the Beasley Community Centre, with separate lines for the half-marathon and the 5 km/10 km events.
