The 2nd Annual Connected Community 5K Run/Walk is powered by Bridge Bedford and is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Logistics, registration and awards
Registration prices listed are: 5K $27.45 (includes $2.45 fee; $22.16 for ages 0–18), 1 Mile $22.16 (includes $2.16 fee), and Kid's Fun Run free. Prices increase after January 31, 2026 at 11:59 pm CST. Kid’s Fun Run registration ends May 9, 2026 at 8:00 am CDT. All participants must pick up race packets (bib number and t-shirt) prior to the race and show registration confirmation and a photo ID; minors are exempt from the photo ID requirement. General pre-race packet pickup is Friday, May 8, 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM; the pickup location is to be announced. Race day packet pickup will also be available.
5K awards include top male and female finishers by grade group (Elementary K–5, Middle 6–8, High 9–12) and by adult age groups from 20–24 through 80 and over. 5K results will be available online after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
