Congleton Half Marathon
The Congleton Half Marathon returns to Cheshire on Sunday, 4th October, 2026. This road race takes place on a closed-road course that leads participants through quiet lanes and the local countryside. The event village and Race HQ are situated at Black Firs Primary School on Longdown Road.
The course features the following distance:

Participants start the race on Somerford Lane, located approximately a 10-minute walk from the Race HQ. The route is clearly marked with distance signage at every mile and is supported by marshals at key points. Water stations are positioned along the course to assist runners during the event.
The event utilizes live chip timing to provide results for all participants. Those who complete the race receive a unique themed medal and post-race goodies. Free professional race photos are also provided following the event. The event village includes various food and drink options for participants and spectators.
The venue is located at Longdown Road, Congleton, CW12 4QJ. Registration options include standard entry or a RunThrough Foundation Place, which does not require additional fundraising.
