The Congleton Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 4 October 2026 in Congleton, Cheshire. The event base is near Longdown Road, CW12 4QJ, with the start area on Somerford Lane close to Back Lane Playing Fields, about a 10-minute walk from Race HQ at Congleton High School. The event offers a half marathon distance. Standard entry is listed at £35, with an alternative RunThrough Foundation Place option (no fundraising required) at £80.
Course and event services
The course runs through quiet lanes and scenic countryside and includes closed-road sections where indicated by local authorities. The route is clearly signed and each kilometre is marked with distance flags. Marshals are positioned at key points and water stations are provided along the route. Timing is by live chip timing and chip-timed results are provided. Included for finishers are a unique themed medal, free race photos and post-race goodies.
