Conestoga Crusher Trail Races
The Conestoga Crusher takes place at Kelly's Run Nature Preserve in Holtwood, Pennsylvania. This event features distances across technical terrain including parts of the Conestoga Trail, the Pinnacle Overlook, and the gorge at Kelly's Run. The races are held rain or shine and are professionally chip timed.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 10 km Trail Race: This course features 1,256 feet of vertical gain, multiple creek crossings, and steep climbs. It passes through the Pinnacle Overlook with views of the Susquehanna River.
- 5 km Trail Race: A course that follows the gorge with crossings over the creek and views of waterfalls.
- 1.5 Mile Kids Trail Race: Known as the "Little Crusher," this distance is designed for children ages 12 and under on double and single track trails.
The 10 km and 5 km races are open to participants aged 10 and older. All runners must register with their legal name and sign a waiver.
Aid stations are located at the finish line for all distances. The 10 km event includes an additional aid station at the Pinnacle Overlook stocked with water, sports drink, and snacks. Finish line food and drinks are available for all participants. Those who register before April 15, 2026, are guaranteed a commemorative race camp mug.
Parking is available at the Kelly’s Run Nature Preserve lot, with satellite parking located at 9 New Village Rd if the primary lot reaches capacity. A portion of the proceeds from the event supports the Lancaster Conservancy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
