About the race
Concord 5000 is the second annual track meet taking place on 02/12/2027 at 4200 Concord Ave, Concord, CA 94521, US. The main competitive offering is a single track race of 5000 meters.
The meet is hosted by the Concord High School Cross Country and Track & Field teams. Heats for the 5000 meters will be seeded slowest to fastest. The event includes music and a post-race taco bar vendor.
Registration opens 06/13/2026 at 13:00 and closes 02/11/2027 at 02:59. The registration fee is $20.00. Teams may be eligible for a reduced group fee.
Prizes and awards are provided by sponsors and the host. Road Runner will provide gift cards to top overall finishers in each division and there will be some raffle prizes. First, second and third places overall in each division will receive Goodr sunglasses. All athletes under the age of 18 will receive medals.
