Concord 5000 : event description

The Concord 5000 is the second annual track meet organized in Concord, California and hosted by the Concord High School Cross Country and Track & Field teams. The competition features a single track event of 5000 meters, run in seeded heats arranged slowest to fastest. The race is staged on a track to provide official 5000-meter times.

Registration opens June 13, 2026 and closes February 11, 2027. The registration fee is $40.00. Reduced group fees are available for team registrations.

Awards and participant provisions include gift cards for top overall finishers in each division, raffle prizes, and Goodr sunglasses for first, second and third overall in each division.
