Con Mis Amigos 50K
Con Mis Amigos is a roughly 31ish mile run around Lincoln, Nebraska held on June 20, 2026. The route begins and ends at the Jane Snyder Trail Center, 250 N 21st St, and travels to north, south, east and west parts of the city. Participants may run alone or form relay teams.
The route stops at seven different Amigos restaurants. To complete the event each participant must consume one menu item at each Amigos and retain the receipts. Among those items, one must be a cheesy burrito and one must be a crisp meat burrito. Teams must ensure each team member runs at least one complete leg and eats at the Amigos where they begin and where they end.
This is an unsanctioned, non timed event. There will be no bibs, no tracking, no road closings and no directional signs. Organizers will provide a route via Google Maps and completion is verified by presenting receipts at the end. The registration fee is $45 plus whatever participants spend at the restaurants. Registered participants receive a t shirt and those who complete the challenge receive a water bottle sticker.
Prizes are planned for first and last finishers, for the largest team and for a few random participants. Remaining funds after t shirts and prizes will be given to an organization in Guatemala that provides resources and housing for people living in a landfill.
