Con Mis Amigos 50K
Con Mis Amigos is a roughly 31ish mile city route held in Lincoln on June 20, 2026, beginning and ending at the Jane Snyder Trail Center. The event is unsanctioned and non timed. There will be no bibs, no official tracking, no road closings and no directional signs; participants receive a route on Google Maps and verify completion with receipts.
Participants may run solo or form relay teams. Team size is unlimited but each team member must run at least one complete leg and must eat at the Amigos where they begin and the Amigos where they end. Along the route, runners stop at seven Amigos restaurants and are required to consume one menu item at each location. One required item must be a cheesy burrito and another must be a crisp meat burrito; the remaining five items are the runner’s choice. Teams must consume one of the two required burritos at their starting Amigos and the other at their finishing Amigos. Contact the race organizer for dietary restrictions that require special consideration.
The registration fee is $45 plus whatever each participant spends at Amigos. Registered participants receive a t shirt and those who complete the route receive a water bottle sticker. Prizes will be given for first and last finishers for individuals and teams, and additional prize distributions are possible. Net proceeds after event costs will support an organization in Guatemala that provides resources and housing for people living in a landfill.
