Compass Run for Food (June 13, 2026)
Compass Run for Food is a community running event held to support food security initiatives in Dufferin County. The 2026 event takes place in person on June 13, 2026, with a virtual option available to run anywhere anytime in June. Registration is open and the organizers anticipate more than 800 runners for this edition.
One hundred percent of race fees are directed to local food security programs, including food banks and school nutrition initiatives. Since the event began in 2014, the total amount donated is reported as 532,000 dollars.
Courses run primarily on flat, groomed trails that loop through Island Lake Conservation Area in Orangeville. The route structure uses trail loops and maintained paths suitable for the listed distances and challenges.
