Community Uplift 5K Run/Walk : May 16, 2026
The Community Uplift 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for May 16, 2026 at The Omega Family Resource and Learning Center, 132 South Harrison St., East Orange, NJ 07018. The event offers both a 5K run and a 5K walk. Registration fees are used toward race expenses; fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Total cost may vary with additional options such as donations. The listed event price includes a processing fee.
Participants who register by April 30 are guaranteed a complimentary event t-shirt on race day. A personalized bib is available for those who register at least three weeks before the event; participants must know their bib number to pick up their bib and a Self Lookup area will be provided.
On-course amenities include live online, text, and email results, plus free finish-line photos and same-day video. Awards are planned for the top three male and top three female overall finishers in the 5K run; note that participants in an incorrect wave will be ineligible for awards. Proceeds will benefit GECUF. Suggested donation amounts are noted on the registration form.
Parking is available in a lot behind the building at 95 Evergreen Pl; additional street parking is available on Evergreen Pl if the lot is full. A course map is available through MapMyRun. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
