Community Traverse Coast to Coast 300KM

The Coast to Coast 300 km is a multi-day ultra that crosses England on foot along Wainwright’s established Coast to Coast route from the Irish Sea at St Bees to the North Sea at Robin Hood’s Bay. The route crosses the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, and North York Moors national parks and includes mountain trails, moorland, forest tracks, farmland and road crossings. Underfoot conditions will vary throughout the route.

The event uses structured checkpoints located at Ennerdale, Borrowdale, Patterdale, Shap, Kirkby Stephen, Richmond, Ingleby Arncliffe and Egton Bridge. Checkpoints will provide water and hot food with vegan and gluten free options, snacks and race nutrition, toilet facilities and first aid support. A bag drop service will be available at selected checkpoints. A GPX file and final route details will be issued in advance.

Live tracking is in place for all participants and a mandatory kit list applies. Participants must follow the route at all times, meet checkpoint cut-offs and be capable of managing themselves across multiple days in remote and mountainous environments. The overall event cut-off is 112 hours. The event is registered with the International Trail Running Association and finishers will earn ITRA endurance points.

Entries open 27 April 2026 and close 1 March 2027. Minimum age is 20 and the entry fee is £195. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
