Commando Series - Hever Castle
The Commando Series at Hever Castle, Kent, is a military‑inspired obstacle mud run held on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October 2026. The course includes rugged obstacles, several of which are exact replicas from the Royal Marines Commando Training Centre at Lympstone, and features named elements such as the Catacombs of Doom. A 2‑hour survival experience is available within the castle grounds.
Spectators can view obstacles from the event village, which includes a climbing wall, live music, a fully stocked bar, and access to parts of the historic castle grounds. The event offers specific age categories and supervision rules: the junior 6K is for ages 8 to 15, the 3K is for ages 7 and up, and children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult at a 1:3 ratio.
Available course options include:
- 3K for ages 7 and up.
- 6K including a junior 6K for ages 8 to 15.
- 12K for adults 16 years and over.
Published entry prices for 2026 are: Adult 12K £100, Adult 6K £80, Junior 6K £45, and 3K £40. A Gold ticket upgrade is available for £30; this includes carrying 21 lbs of extra kit, webbing and a wooden rifle, a hot ration pack on finish, and access to a 2‑hour survival course for participants 16 years and over.
