The IKEA Marathon : Croydon, 13 December 2026
The event is a full marathon held entirely inside the IKEA store in Croydon. The course is multi-lap to reach the marathon distance of 26.2 miles and does not use the car park or other outside areas. Runners will follow a route through store aisles, travelators and checkout areas within the working store environment.
Places are limited to 100 entries, with 80 available on general sale. Entry opens 26 June 2026 and closes 6 December 2026. Minimum age is 18. Entry fees are listed as Affiliated £80.00 and Unaffiliated £82.00. There is a strict six hour cut off for finishing the marathon.
Aid station provisions will carry a Swedish theme. Finishers receive a bespoke self-assembly marathon medal and a unique finisher t shirt. Sixteen percent of proceeds will be donated to Shelter charity. An ARC permit is listed as pending. No refunds or transfers will be offered for this race.
