48th Annual Come See Me Road Race
The Come See Me Road Race is an annual event held in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The competition features three distinct distances:
- 10K (USATF-certified 6.2 mile course)
- 5K (USATF-certified 3.1 mile course)
- Fun Run (Approximately 1 mile course)
The 5K and 10K routes consist of paved streets and bike paths that lead participants through residential areas. The courses include water stations at the 1.5-mile mark for the 5K, and at the 2-mile and 4-mile marks for the 10K. All participants are required to finish by 9:30. Walkers may participate in the 5K or must maintain a pace faster than 13 minutes per mile in the 10K.
The Fun Run takes place around Winthrop Lake. While pets are not permitted in any of the events, strollers are allowed across all distances. The first 600 registrants for the 5K and 10K will receive a medal, while all Fun Run participants aged 12 and under receive a customized medal.
An award ceremony is held near the finish line for various age categories, ranging from 9 and under to 60 and over. Post-race activities include refreshments, snacks, pizza, and beverages. Parking and restrooms are located at the Winthrop Coliseum. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
