About the race
The Columbus Donut Run and Walk is a fitness event held at the Scioto Audubon Metro Park in Columbus, Ohio. The event features several road race distances to accommodate different preferences:
- 10k Run or Walk
- 5k Run or Walk
- 1 mile Walk
- Kids Donut Dash (with or without swag options)
- Virtual races for all listed distances
Participants in the 1 mile, 5k, and 10k events receive chip timing with instant results and a variety of race materials, including custom diecast finisher medals, soft ring-spun blended shirts, and custom race bibs. Finish line photos are provided to all runners and walkers.
The event offers several amenities at the finish line, including fresh donuts for every participant, including those in the free kids' race. Additional refreshments such as fruit, snacks, and other beverages are available. A 25-foot tall inflatable donut is stationed on-site for photo opportunities. The course is situated within the scenic Scioto Audubon Metro Park, offering views of the local Columbus landscape.
Participants in the Kids Donut Dash can choose between a free registration option or a paid version that includes additional event swag. Virtual options are also available for those who wish to complete their chosen distance at a different location while still receiving the commemorative items.
