Colorado Mountain Half+ Series 2026

The Colorado Mountain Half+ Series groups five mountain road and trail races across Colorado during summer and early fall 2026. The series includes four half marathons and one 25K, spread across multiple locations and dates:

• Four half marathons (13.1 miles each)
• One 25K (15.5 miles)

Events and dates in the series:

• Estes Park Half Marathon : June 21, 2026. The race is held in the town at the base of Rocky Mountain National Park, near local elk habitat and the Stanley Hotel.
• Georgetown to Idaho Springs Half Marathon : August 8, 2026. This event begins at Georgetown Lake and follows a mostly downhill course into Idaho Springs.
• Mt. Sneffels Half Marathon : August 15, 2026. The course travels through mountain valleys on a declining profile.
• Ned Ned Half Marathon in Nederland : September 12, 2026. This race runs mostly on trails through national forest with Barker Reservoir nearby.
• Lead King Loop 25K : September 13, 2026. This trail event passes through fall color and concludes with on-site food and beer available for those 21 and over.

The series is organized with involvement from HAL Sports and local nonprofit race organizers. Participants may register for any three, four, or all five events and earn series points and awards based on their finishes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
