Colorado Brain Tumor Walk
The Colorado Brain Tumor Walk takes place on September 26, 2026 at the south end of Sloan's Lake off W 17th Avenue in Denver, Colorado. The event brings the Colorado brain tumor community together to raise awareness and funds to support the needs of patients with brain tumors and their families. It is presented as a family friendly gathering open to all ages.
The event features a 3 miles walk route. Participants may walk or run at their own pace; wheelchairs and strollers are welcome. Organizers have removed the timed 5K option for this year, but participants may still run the course without official timing.
Onsite programming includes a stage program with speakers, a survivor and caregiver tribute, a Celebration of Life ceremony, fundraising awards, and a prize drawing. Activities for children include a bounce house and a poster making station. Light refreshments will be available.
Registration details for event weekend list fees of Walker 25 USD, Youth Walker 5 USD, and Volunteer free. Virtual participation is available with free registration; virtual participants who raise 75 USD or more by August 25, 2026 will receive event t shirts by event day. In person event t shirts are available to those who register prior to August 26, 2026 but are not guaranteed to late registrants. Registration for the 2026 event will open soon.
