Color Me Green 5K Trail Race - Whitewater
Color Me Green is a trail color run on March 13, 2027 in Charlotte, NC. The main event is a 5K held on natural surface trails; a separate half mile kids run is also offered. The race is organized alongside the Green River Revival festival.

Registration includes pre-registration and day of options. Pre-registration for the kids run is $18 with day of registration listed at $23. Pre-registration fees for the 5K are listed as $45 and $50 depending on division, with day of fees listed as $50 and $55. Pre-registration for the event closes March 10, 2027. Race registration is non-refundable. Race shirts are guaranteed only to those who register on or before March 1, 2027.
Packet pick-up is scheduled the two days before the race at NoDa Brewing Company (150 W. 32nd St., Charlotte) and at the South Conference Center; day of packet pick-up is available on race day. All participants must sign the Whitewater Center Assumption of Risk Agreement before participating; the waiver may be printed or completed on site.
Course and event policies note that courses are marked with colored arrows, trails may be uneven, and trails remain open to other users. Headphones are strongly discouraged, no pets or powered bikes are permitted, and events proceed rain or shine. The Whitewater Center charges a daily parking fee of $13 and offers an annual parking pass for $45. Emergency location markers are placed on the trail system and participants must call 911 for emergency services. Awards are given by division and require presence at the ceremony.
