Colonial Half Marathon and 5K : Williamsburg, February 13, 2027
The event offers multiple in person and virtual race options in Colonial Williamsburg, centered near 326 West Francis Street adjacent to the Dewitt Wallace Art Museum. Distances on the in person program include a Half Marathon (13.1 mile), a 5K (3.1 mile), and a Mini Half (1.31 mile). Virtual versions of the Half, 5K, and Mini Half are available with specific pickup or shipping arrangements for finisher items.
The Half Marathon follows a course through historic Colonial Williamsburg that includes a climb on Fortitude Hill and an out-and-back segment on Carters Grove Country Road. The Half Marathon time limit is 3.5 hours. The Half Marathon Ruck Run/Walk requires weighted carry rules: participants under 150 pounds carry 10 pounds and those over 150 pounds carry 20 pounds; weighted vests are allowed. Virtual participants are not eligible for race awards and may pay a shipping fee to receive medals and shirts if not picked up.
Finishing participants receive a long sleeve performance T shirt when available and a finisher medal, plus a complimentary entry to the post race celebration with beer and pizza (ID required for alcohol). Cash awards are offered for the top three men and women in the Half Marathon with additional custom and tile awards and age group medals.
