47th Colonial Half Marathon and 5K
The event takes place on February 14, 2026 in Williamsburg, Virginia, with the start area at 326 West Francis Street. Multiple in-person and virtual options are offered and courses run through the historic district of Colonial Williamsburg.

Course highlights include streets and paths through Colonial Williamsburg, passages past the Governor's Mansion and the Capitol Building, portions on Duke of Gloucester Street, and a final climb up Fortitude Hill. The Half Marathon includes an out-and-back segment on Carters Grove Country Road. The half marathon has a 3.5 hour time limit.
Awards and participant items vary by event. The Half Marathon offers cash prizes for the top three overall men and women and age group medals; finishing participants receive a long sleeve performance T-shirt (guaranteed for registrations by January 31, 2026) and a finisher medal. The 5K awards medals across overall, masters, grand masters, youth and five-year age groups. 5K perks include a swag bag, long sleeve race T, custom finisher medal, and beer and pizza ticket. Mini Half finishers receive a long sleeve T, finisher medal, and entry to the post race celebration with complimentary beer with ID.
Packet pick-up is on race day at the party tent near the start line. Recommended parking includes Colonial Williamsburg lot P6, the Prince George Street garage, and the College of William and Mary's Power Plant lot.
