Event overview
The 47th Colonial Half Marathon and 5K takes place on February 14, 2026 in Williamsburg, Virginia. The event offers multiple race options, including:

Races start and finish near Nassau and Francis Streets in Colonial Williamsburg. Courses pass through the historic area, including the Governor’s mansion, Duke of Gloucester Street, and finish by climbing Fortitude Hill. The Half Marathon includes an out-and-back section on Carters Grove Country Road. The Mini Half is not officially timed.
Logistics, prizes and extras
Packet pick-up is on race day in the party tent near the start line at 326 West Francis St.; there is no early packet pick-up. Recommended parking includes Colonial Williamsburg lot P6 (fee $1.00 per hour), the Prince George Street parking garage (first 30 minutes free, then $1.00 per hour, $12.00 max), and the College of William and Mary Power Plant lot (no fee). Half Marathon time limit is 3.5 hours. Finishing participants receive a long sleeve T-shirt (guaranteed for registrations by January 31, 2026), a finisher medal, and access to the post-race celebration with complimentary beer and pizza (ID required for alcohol). Half Marathon cash awards for overall top three: $300, $200, $100. 5K and Half Marathon age-group and masters awards are also offered.
