Event overview
The 47th Colonial Half Marathon and 5K takes place on February 14, 2026 in Williamsburg, VA (326 West Francis St., 23185). The event includes in-person and virtual options and is organized by Colonial Sports, Inc. Race courses pass through Colonial Williamsburg, including Nassau Street, Prince George Street, Duke of Gloucester Street and Fortitude Hill. The half marathon includes an out-and-back segment on Carters Grove Country Road. The Mini Half is a 1.31 mile out-and-back on Duke of Gloucester Street and is not officially timed. The half marathon has a 3.5 hour time limit.

Awards, entry and logistics
Half marathon cash awards for overall top three men and women are $300, $200 and $100. The half also awards a custom bowl for the top male and female, custom tiles for places 2–10, and age-group medals. The 5K awards medals for overall and age groups, plus separate awards for the competitive walk. Registered finishers receive long-sleeve shirts and finisher medals; some shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations by January 31, 2026. Race day packet pick-up is at the party tent near the start line (326 West Francis St.). Recommended parking locations include Colonial Williamsburg lot P6 (fee $1.00 per hour), Prince George St. parking garage (fee structure applies), and College of William and Mary Power Plant lot (no fee).
