Memorial walk and fundraiser at Otsego County Park
A memorial walk will be held on August 9, 2026 at Otsego County Park, 15186 96th St NE, Otsego, MN 55330. The event honors a child who died suddenly at age two and aims to raise awareness of Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC) and to support the SUDC Foundation.
The morning program includes a 1 mile walk along a paved walking path, followed by refreshments and kid friendly activities. A registration fee of $20 for participants over age 5 will be donated directly to the SUDC Foundation. Children under 5 may register at no fee.
Registration opens on June 10, 2026 and closes on August 9, 2026. Individuals who cannot attend in person may still support the event through donations or by registering as fundraisers; funds support SUDC research, family services, and awareness programs that the foundation provides free of charge to families it serves.
