The course distance is 13.7 km / 8.5 miles with a total climb of 1067 m / 3501 ft. Recorded course best times are 01:07:45 (male, 2012) and 01:17:38 (female, 2017). A £100 prize is offered for breaking either record.
Entry and teams
Entry is by pre-entry only; there are no entries on the day. Entry opens 15th February and is limited to 400 places. Pre-entry fees are £12 for members and £15 for non-members; booking fees apply. No refunds are offered, but substitutions are permitted up to Thursday 26th March via Events Up North. Team entries are allowed: men teams of 4 and women teams of 3.
Additional information
The race is a second counter in the Inov8/Pete Bland Sports Lakes Grand Prix. Full FRA kit is required to pass the kit check. Competitors should allow about 10 minutes to walk to registration.
