The Coledale Horseshoe is a fell race in the Lake District, starting and registering at Braithwaite Lodge near Braithwaite, England. The route covers 13.7 km (8.5 miles) with 1067 m (3501 ft) of ascent and visits checkpoints on Grisedale Pike, Crag Hill and Barrow. The course is part of the Inov8/Pete Bland Sports Lakes Grand Prix and the event holds a Permit with associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA.

The race is pre-entry only with an entry limit of 400 and no entries on the day. Pre-entry fees are listed for FRA members and non-members, booking fees apply, and substitutions are permitted until 26 March; there are no refunds. Full FRA kit is required and the event is run under FRA rules; entrants must complete the FRA entry form. The race is classified non-GPS (NG): use of electronic devices to show a current position or to delineate a route is prohibited, though devices that display distance, time or altitude are permitted and post-race route recording is allowed.

Parking is provided on the old A66 layby opposite Braithwaite Village and registration is a short walk from the parking area. The start through the village is marshalled and marshals remain in radio contact with the start. Teams are permitted with team sizes specified for men and women.
