Colchester Zoo Stampede
Colchester Zoo Stampede 10K is a RunThrough UK event held at Colchester Zoo in Maldon Rd, Stanway. The 10K course combines a 1K loop inside the zoo—among rhinos, giraffes, zebras and elephants—with closed-road sections, finishing back inside the zoo. The route climbs about 77 meters on a road surface.
The day includes chip timing, a unique themed medal, free race photos, post-race goodies, and a friendly marshal team in a bustling event village. Complimentary zoo entry on race day, sustainability efforts, and optional RunThrough Kit technical T-shirt are offered. Proceeds support Colchester Zoological Society and Mind Mid and North East Essex; the event is run in partnership with Larking Gowen.
