Colchester Zoo Stampede 10k

The Colchester Zoo Stampede 10 km takes place on 16 May 2027 and is held within Colchester Zoo. The event supports Colchester Zoological Society and is organised by RunThrough.

Participants start in the heart of the zoo, between rhinos, elephants, giraffes and zebras, and follow a route that runs through the park. The race is chip timed and each kilometre is marked with distance flags.

Entry includes free Colchester Zoo entry on race day, a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip timed results and post race goodies. Marshals are positioned around the course to guide participants. An event village provides food and drink options and free items from partners.

Ticketing windows are listed as Super Early Bird entry ending 14 June 2026, Early Bird entry ending 15 November 2026 and Standard entry ending 18 April 2027. A discounted event t shirt is available to purchase with entry at more than 30 percent off, supplied in partnership with RT Kit.
