Colchester Zoo Stampede 10K : 17 May 2026
The Colchester Zoo Stampede 10K takes place on 17 May 2026 and is organised by RunThrough in partnership with Larking Gowen. The event supports Mid and North East Essex Mind and Colchester Zoological Society.
The course begins inside Colchester Zoo with a one kilometre loop through the zoo grounds, then continues on surrounding closed roads before finishing back inside the zoo. The route is on road terrain with an elevation gain of 77 m. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals are present to guide participants.
Entry includes free Colchester Zoo entry on race day, a themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results and post race goodies.
