Coeurs Chauds-Warm Hearts 10K Run-Walk
The Coeurs Chauds-Warm Hearts Run-Walk takes place in Memramcook, New Brunswick. The event features several distances starting from École Abbey-Landry and the Eugène (Gene) LeBlanc Arena. The 5 km and 10 km courses are mostly flat with a slight negative elevation. Timing services are provided by Atlantic Chip, utilizing a gun start and chip finish system.
The following distances are available:
- 10 km (run or walk)
- 5 km (run or walk)
- 1 km competitive race (ages 12 and under)
- 400 meters fun race (ages 12 and under)
- 100 meters fun race (ages 5 and under)
Registration for the 5 km and 10 km events includes a unisex t-shirt for those who register by May 7th. The participant capacity for these main distances is capped at 500 runners. The children's races have smaller capacities, ranging from 30 to 50 participants depending on the specific event.
All finishers across all categories receive a medal. Additional prizes include first-place medals for age category winners and cash prizes for overall male and female winners, as well as for the top finishers aged 18 and under. A participation draw for two bicycles is also held during the event. Race kit pickup is available on the morning of the races at École Abbey-Landry.
