Cocke-a-Doodle Dash
The Cocke-a-Doodle Dash is a 5K running and walking event held on July 18, 2026, in Newport, Tennessee. The course begins and ends at Cocke County High School and follows a route through downtown Newport. The event presents a community-oriented course that passes through central parts of the town.
Registration opens on June 11, 2026 and closes on July 3, 2026. The registration fee is $30.00. Pre-registered participants receive a race shirt. Awards are given to top finishers and in age group categories. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Cocke County High School Cross Country Team and the High School Beautification Fund.
