Event overview
The 3rd Annual CoastalLIFE 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Sunday, March 29, 2026 at Coastal Carolina University, 100 Tom Trout Drive, Conway, SC 29528. The event is presented by NS Promos/Run Myrtle Beach and includes in-person and virtual options. CoastalLIFE is a residential, non-degree program for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities that offers academic instruction, career education and training, independent living supports, and social and community engagement.
Races and logistics
- 5K Run/Walk - chip timing, awards for overall and age groups
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk - self-timed
- Run with Chauncey Kids' Dash - 50 yard dash, self-timed
- Virtual 5K Option - mailed virtual swag within two weeks
Registration is available only online and closes on March 29, 2026 at 6:45am. Packet pickup is provided the day before at Native Sons (1519 Executive Ave, Myrtle Beach) and on race day at Brooks Stadium near the finish area. Parking is available at Brooks Stadium and surrounding lots; restrooms are at Brooks Football Stadium.
Course and race rules note no water stop on course, post-race snacks and water will be available, animals and wheeled devices are not permitted on the course and may lead to disqualification. Timing methods: gun timing for overall awards and chip timing for age group awards. Participant items include a race bib, a participant shirt while supplies last, and a custom Made in the USA medal.
