Event overview
The 3rd Annual CoastalLIFE 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for March 29, 2026 at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC (100 Tom Trout Drive, 29528). The event offers multiple participation options:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- 50-yard Kids' Dash
- Virtual 5K
Registration is available online and closes on March 29, 2026. A virtual entry option is offered with separate registration deadlines. Packet pickup is available the day before at Native Sons (1519 Executive Ave, Myrtle Beach) and on race day near Brooks Stadium.
Course, logistics and awards
The event takes place exclusively on the Coastal Carolina University campus. The 5K uses chip timing for age group results; gun timing is used for overall awards. The 1 Mile and Kids' Dash are self-timed. There are no water stops on the course. Animals and wheeled devices such as baby strollers, skate boards, roller blades, and unauthorized bicycles are not permitted and may result in disqualification.
Post-race snacks and water will be provided. Parking is available at Brooks Stadium and surrounding lots; restrooms are located at Brooks Football Stadium.
Swag for participants includes a shirt (while supplies last), a custom-made medal produced in the USA, and a race bib. Virtual race swag will be mailed after the event.
Awards for the 5K only: overall male and female places 1-3, overall masters male and female 1st place, and age-group awards (male and female places 1-3) for these groups: 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and up.
