Coastal Bend Blood Center Run for Blood 5K & 10K

Packet pickup is available the day before the event at Fleet Feet Sports (1412 Airline Road) and on race day at the event location. Early registrants have specific benefits: the first 450 participants to register will receive finisher medals. Registration fees increase by $5 on September 25. The guaranteed shirt deadline is September 25.
A virtual runner option is available. Virtual participants who register by September 25 receive an official event T-shirt and a finisher medal. Virtual participants may complete their chosen distance any time from registration through October 10, and virtual results must be submitted by October 10. Age group awards and overall placements are reserved for in-person participants; virtual registrants receive shirts and finisher medals but are not eligible for those awards.
The Coastal Bend Blood Center is an independent, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1969. It provides community education, donor recruiting, blood drawing, processing, and distribution, serving 22 medical facilities across a 10-county area. More than 90% of the Blood Center’s annual expenditures go to program services. This run is the organization’s primary annual fundraiser to support the continued provision of a safe and adequate blood supply for the Coastal Bend community.
